Blue Note
Blue Note Records is an American jazz record label, established in 1939 by Alfred Lion and Max Margulis, shortly thereafter, Francis Wolff became involved and has been a leading record label for Jazz musicians ever since.
The brand’s name reflects characteristics of “blue notes” used in jazz music.
The project included a custom WordPress back end with a fully responsive e-commerce platform optimized for web and mobile devices. In keeping with the brand and what jazz music is about, we were able to create a very classic ‘blues” type website that is as calm and sophisticated as the music itself!
