  • Google Webmaster Tools: This is a free tool and it has a feature that lists all of the pages on your site that have been linked to from other websites.

It’s incredibly simple to move the old pages to the new site. Instead, use the relaunch as an opportunity to upgrade your existing content. Add more explanation, examples, images, and other detail. You might also want to add a video to your site to get your visitors to stick sound, this will also improve your ranking.

If you move to a new state or a new apartment, you have to fill out a change-of-address form at the post office. Similarly, when moving a page from one URL to another, you must create a 301 redirect.
